| This page will be dedicated to all those who want to become a professional Mobile Disc Jockey. Having started my own business has been a great experience. I want to share my most recent experience with those interested in becoming DJs. When I was in the Military (USAF), I worked for Chief Master Sgt. who always said; make it better for the next guy who comes along. I have been doing that since, and it has made my life even better. So for all those upcoming DJs, I hope this, makes starting your own business easier.
I have listed some of the upcoming topics I will be discussing. DJing is a great way to create a secondary income, provide a valuable service to those who are getting Married, Celebrating an Event, or just throwing a party.
Starting your own business
Starting a business in Texas is a very simple process. All you need to do is file a form at County Hall, pay a small filing fee and your done. But depending on what type of business you are starting - there could be more.
I recommend you make an appointment with your local small business administration office. They will explain; how to register your company, create a business plan, provide you with local and federal tax information. They can even let you know how local laws can have an impact on your business.
This is a free service and only takes an hour of your time. They are very helpful and you might learn a lot.
